Directorate General of Civil Aviation Project
Directorate General of Civil Aviation "D"GCA requirement is to have Airport Surveilance Radar "ASR" in Kuwait International Airport "KIA".
Project Description
ACC was awarded the project to supply and commission Airport Surveillance Radar System with a supplemental Automatic Dependent Surveillance Broadcast System and an Airport Surveillance Radar Building
Project Scope
ACC as local agent of Leonardo S.p.A, has embarked on a new project which consists of the following:
- G33 PSR Reflector Antenna with a top mounted ALE-9 MSSR Antenna
- Antenna Base
- Primary Surveillance Radar ATCR33-SENH
- Mode-S Monopulse Secondary Surveillance Radar SIR-S
- Surveillance Radar Building and ADS-B receiving ground stations
- A Radar Access Node (RAN)
- Radar Head Processor (RHP)
- Local Control and Monitoring System (LCMS)
- Radar Maintenance Monitor (RMM)
Conclusion
We provided turnkey integrated project including design, delivery, commissioning of the ASR The project was delivered successfully and ACC presented high professional outcome to DGCA. ACC continues to provide Maintenance and services support for this project.

DGCA requirement is to have the Instrument Landing System (ILS) for the 3rd Runway at the Kuwait International Airport.

ACC undertook the Civil, Electrical, HVAC works and Active Network for Interfacing ILS/DME facilities to the Kuwait Airport Data Interchange Network (KADIN).

- Design for all civil foundations, electrical, earthing, Interface Control Documents (ICD) for both Network Connectivity and Application Interfaces.
- Construction of civil foundations for ILS/DME equipment (ILS Shelters, localizer antennas, Glide Path (GP) antennas, near field monitor (NFM ) far field monitor (FFM), Field Test Paths, Critical Area Marking, GP Reflection Area, Access Road and Parking Lots, duct banks, installation of Fiber cables, manholes and handholes.
- Supply, installation, and commissioning of LV power cables from Substations for ILS Shelters.
- Supply, installation, and commissioning of HVAC and control panels.
- Installation and commissioning of Earthing/Grounding system.
- Supply, installation and commissioning of KADIN node equipment and UPS.
